Where to travel in August?

The Spanish climate can be divided into three main types of climate: Mediterranean climate in the south, continental climate in the center and the Atlantic Ocean in the northwest of the country. In addition to these three climates, Spain has an alpine climate in the peaks highest in the Pyrenees, while in the Murcia region, the climate is semi-arid, and the Canary Islands have a semi-arid subtropical climate.

If you imagine your August vacation on the beach, you can choose, for example, the Region of Valencia, the Canary Islands or the Balearic Islands. If, on the contrary, you fancy a cooler destination, we recommend the north of Spain.
